Software Consulting & Architecture Review
Before committing to a build, it helps to understand the technical choices and their consequences. We review how the proposed software will work, what it depends on and what still needs to be proven.
Discuss your projectDefine software architecture and system responsibilities
A product idea often mixes user features, business rules and technical assumptions. We separate these into clear responsibilities for the application, integrations and operations. The review identifies where data starts, who can change it and which parts must work together. Missing details become explicit questions rather than hidden decisions left to development.
Test the assumptions that could change the plan
Some uncertainty is best resolved with a small technical experiment. An unfamiliar device interface, difficult data import or expected workload may need evidence before an estimate is meaningful. We define what the experiment must demonstrate and how its result affects the options. This keeps a proof of concept focused on a real decision.
Document trade-offs the team can revisit
Architecture choices have costs in development, maintenance and future change. We record why an approach fits the current needs and which conditions would make it worth revisiting. The delivery plan connects technical work to usable releases. A future developer should be able to understand the reasoning without depending on the original discussion.

- Architecture options and decision record
- Feasibility findings for key risks

Service questions and answers
What can a technical review clarify before we commission software?
It can turn a broad idea into system responsibilities, integration questions and options worth testing. Share expected users, sample workflows and any current architecture. The result should explain what is understood, what remains uncertain and which evidence is needed before a development estimate or technology choice becomes dependable.

When is a proof of concept worth doing?
Use one when a specific uncertainty could materially change the plan, such as an unfamiliar device interface or difficult import. Define the question and the evidence needed before building it. A successful demonstration should answer that question; it does not automatically establish production readiness, security or long-term operating cost.

Can you review an existing architecture without replacing it?
Yes, the review can examine a defined concern such as deployment difficulty, integration reliability or growth. We compare targeted improvements with larger changes and record the trade-offs. Existing business rules and dependencies need attention so a cleaner technical diagram does not remove behaviour the organisation still relies on.

What should a useful architecture handover contain?
Include system boundaries, data flow, interface expectations and the reasons behind important decisions. Record assumptions, rejected options and the conditions that would justify revisiting a choice. Delivery and operating responsibilities should be clear enough for another team to continue the work without depending on the original participants' memory.
