School management with automatic RFID attendance and parent arrival messages.
Workflow concept; not a screenshot of the client system.
The project
Nexora developed a school management system for a school in Aligarh, with automatic attendance and SMS notifications. Students carry RFID cards. When a student passes the school entrance and the card is detected, the system records attendance and sends the parent an arrival message. The school’s name is withheld.
The engineering challenge
The workflow connects a physical arrival event to a school record and then to a parent notification. RFID detection at the gate provides the input, the management system marks attendance, and SMS communicates that the child has reached school. The recorded event confirms detection at the school entrance; it is not a claim of continuous student or bus tracking.
Engineering scope
School management system development
RFID-card detection and automatic attendance at the entrance
SMS notifications to parents confirming arrival
Where it can help
This connected workflow helps the school record arrivals and keep parents informed through the same event. The case demonstrates integration between physical identification, administrative software and communication.
Project questions
How is attendance recorded automatically?
A student carries an RFID card. Detection as the student passes the school gate triggers attendance recording and an SMS arrival notification to the parent.
