## The project

Nexora developed the electronics platform for an energy metering product. The project brings electrical energy measurement and the presentation of consumption information into one product. Its scope centres on the hardware needed to support measurement and normal product operation, rather than an assumed utility deployment or billing service.

## The engineering challenge

A useful meter must turn measured electrical activity into information that a person or connected system can use. The hardware therefore has to support both the measurement function and the product interface. The portfolio establishes that platform work; communication protocols, accuracy class and tariff processing are separate specifications.

## From circuit design to product testing

Nexora’s work on this product covers three connected stages. Schematics define the circuit and its interfaces. PCB development turns that design into a physical board. Product testing evaluates the assembled electronics against the intended operating requirements.
