## The project

A monitoring solution for industrial lithium iron phosphate and lead-acid battery installations. The project focuses on collecting relevant electrical and temperature data and presenting it in a form that helps maintenance teams follow battery operating conditions.

## The engineering challenge

The project brings selected voltage, current and temperature measurements into an operating view for industrial batteries. Threshold alerts and event records help maintenance teams review reported changes. Local display or connected logging depends on the implementation. LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries require battery-specific parameters, and monitoring complements rather than replaces the installation’s protection and charging arrangements.

## Engineering scope

- Voltage, current, and temperature monitoring at the selected measurement points
- Configurable threshold alerts and event records
- Local display or connected logging, with battery-specific parameters

## Where it can help

Useful for backup power, UPS systems, telecom installations, and industrial battery banks. Monitoring complements the protection, charging, and maintenance arrangements required for the selected battery chemistry.

## Project questions

### Is monitoring the same as battery protection or charging?

No. This project observes operating conditions and presents alerts or records. Protection, charging and maintenance remain separate requirements for the selected battery installation.
