# Door Control PLC

Digital, analog and wired interfaces for door automation.

## The project

Nexora developed a programmable logic controller for door-control applications. The design brings digital I/O, analog conversion and wired communication into one control platform. The delivered work includes schematic design, PCB development and product testing.

## The engineering challenge

The controller provides different interface types for equipment integration: digital channels for discrete signals, analog channels for measured or variable values, and Ethernet and RS485 for wired communication. Keeping those capabilities in one platform supports a coordinated door-control design. The field devices, communication protocol and control sequence remain application-specific.

## Engineering scope

- 12 digital outputs rated at 1 A each; 12 digital inputs
- Ethernet and RS485 communication interfaces
- 4 analog-to-digital inputs and 2 digital-to-analog outputs

## From circuit design to product testing

Nexora’s work on this product covers three connected stages. Schematics define the circuit and its interfaces. PCB development turns that design into a physical board. Product testing evaluates the assembled electronics against the intended operating requirements.

## Where it can help

Relevant to door-equipment developers requiring an integrated controller. Installation design must establish the connected devices and electrical ratings; the portfolio’s digital-input current notation is not a confirmed input rating.

## Project questions

### Which interfaces are available for door control?

The PLC provides 12 digital outputs rated at 1 A each, 12 digital inputs, Ethernet, RS485, four ADC inputs and two DAC outputs. These support discrete signals, analog values and wired equipment communication.
