# Complete IoT Solutions: Devices, Cloud & Apps

A connected product should help someone do a job better. At Nexora, we start with that job, then plan the hardware and software needed to make it work.

## Define the purpose of your IoT solution

What do you need to know, and what will your team do with that information? You may need to check equipment status, follow a reading over time or know when a device stops reporting. Write down one useful action first. This gives the project a clear purpose and helps avoid building screens that no one needs.

## Choose device measurements and hardware requirements

The hardware collects information from the real world. The firmware is the software running inside it. Together, they need to capture the right readings, identify the device and handle errors. We discuss power, installation space, operating conditions and maintenance before choosing the parts. A device that works on a desk still needs testing in its intended environment.

## Plan IoT connectivity and offline behaviour

Some products connect through a nearby phone or gateway. Others use Wi-Fi or a mobile network. The right choice depends on coverage, power use, distance and running costs. A cellular connection may need a SIM and a data plan. We also plan what happens when the connection drops: which readings stay on the device, when they are sent again and how the user sees missing data.

## Receive and manage device data in the cloud

The cloud receives messages, checks them and makes them available to the right users. Agree the device identity, time, unit and meaning of every reading. Decide how long to keep it and what should happen if the same message arrives twice. Access rules matter too: a customer should only see the equipment and information they are allowed to use.

## Design clear IoT dashboards and mobile views

The dashboard should show what is happening and what needs attention. A mobile app can help a person check a device while away from a desk. Both should use the same meaning for status, alerts and last-updated times. A reading from yesterday must not look like a live reading. We design these views around the people using them, not just the data available.

## Test the complete device-to-application journey

Test a normal reading, a failed connection, a restart, a repeated message and a user without access. Follow each case from the device to the screen. Start with a small pilot and agree what counts as a successful result before expanding. For a first discussion with Nexora, share your use case, any existing hardware, the installation setting and the main task your users need to complete.
